How much do your wedding cakes cost?

Every wedding cake is individually priced according to the materials and amount of work involved. As a rough guide, we charge approximately £100 per tier - more basic designs are slightly less but complex and time consuming designs can be considerably more.

How much notice is required?

For the months of May - September we would recommend booking at least 4-6 months out. Off season months can sometimes be booked with less notice, but we only take on 1-2 weddings per week so do tend to get booked up.

To book your wedding cake with us we require a non-refundable deposit of £50.00, with the balance due two weeks in advance of the wedding. We accept cash and cheques, or if you would rather pay by credit or debit card, you can do so via PayPal (You don't need a PayPal account to pay this way. We send an e-mail which has a link to PayPal's secure payment page).

Do you offer consulations and tastings?

Yes, we offer consultations where you can try up to 4 of our cake flavours. Please see our Wedding Consultations page for details.

Do you have cake stands?

We have round and square cupcake/mini cake stands available for hire (£40 deposit, £20 is refunded when the customer returns the stand to Caketasia within a week of the wedding), but we don't supply traditional cake stands as most venues provide a cake stand. If your venue doesn't provide a cake stand, we can sit your cake on multiple tiered cake boards, giving a raised look to the cake.

I'd like a wedding cake with 2/3/4 tiers but don't need that much cake/need more cake.

If you have found a design that you've fallen in love with but with too many servings, we can decorate a dummy tier as part of the cake. Or, if the cake you have chosen does not provide enough servings, we can supply kitchen cakes to make up the remaining servings.

I have a photo of a cake that I would like, can you recreate it?

Yes, you can bring along a photo of any cake ideas to your consultation or email a copy. We can then provide quotes and incorporate any changes that you may like. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee an exact copy of any cake. Cake makers have different personal styles and these may be reflected in the final cake. We will, however, do our best to recreate a similar design.

Can I have more than one flavour?

You can have a different flavour for each tier. Some cake flavours are more delicate than others so there are a few restrictions as to which would need to be on the top/bottom - please contact us for further information.

Can my cake be nut free?

Unless you choose a flavour with nuts, your cake will be nut free. However, there are nuts in the kitchen so we can't guarantee a nut free product.
